Beyond this threshold, VAT is applied at the standard rate. Businesses transitioning to electric vans may receive subsidies covering up to 60% of the additional purchase cost for heavy-duty electric vehicles. BEVs with a purchase price of up to NOK 500,000 (~42,600 EUR) are fully exempt from Norway's 25% VAT.
