Victron and Australian-made Selectronic battery inverters can also be used. There are three versions of the BYD Battery Box: Low-voltage batteries have thick and heavy cables and need to be located very close to their inverter. Higher voltage batteries provide more flexibility with where they can be located.
This means that even small commercial systems can be equipped with the combination of Fronius GEN24 Plus or Verto Plus and BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS/HVM. The parallel operation of multiple batteries (up to 3) increases the capacity, but the charge and discharge rates remain the same as when operating a single battery.
