NPFC Series Product Manual 48NPFC100 Lithium Battery Pack
1. Safety operation guide for lithium batteries Warning: 48NPFC100 is a 48V voltage DC system operated by authorized personnel only.
If the battery has a voltage of less than 10V (20V) or if one of the battery cells has a cell voltage below 2.5V, the battery will have permanent damage. This will invalidate the warranty. The lower the battery or cell voltage is, the more damage to the battery will be.
If the battery has been discharged too deeply, the voltage will fall well below 12V (24V). If the battery has a voltage of less than 10V (20V) or if one of the battery cells has a cell voltage below 2.5V, the battery will have permanent damage. This will invalidate the warranty.
These low battery warnings in the LiFePO₄ batteries appear when the voltage of one or more cells drops beneath the predetermined cut-off. Usually, the cells are around 2.5V per cell. In a standard 12.8V pack, it is generally 10V throughout the battery. The battery is at low, and further discharging has the risk of long-term harm.
A ' battery voltage low ' message would generally mean that the voltage has plunged below the recommended limit which the device's operation needs to be properly performing. This holds fairly significant bearing in batteries like lithium, where operating outside voltage specifications causes degradation.
